Modern a-frame home on the northern end of Candlewood Lake, perfect for families or small groups to have a great time. Whether you're taking out the kayaks, going for a hike on miles of open trails, or relaxing by a cozy fire, you're bound to make some incredible memories here at jj chalet. The home has 3 levels. Ground level has a mud room with queen sofabed and garage, both furnished for entertaining. Garage has a dry bar, foosball table, and exercise equipment. Both areas open up to outdoor space where you can run around, bbq and make a cozy fire. The 2nd floor is the main living space with 2 walk-out decks, a full kitchen, bathroom, living and dining room along with one bedroom with full-sized bed. The main deck has a chiminea fireplace and lounge chairs, while the back deck takes you out to private woods and garden. The 3rd floor features two bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed) and one bathroom. The primary bedroom features a walk-out deck perfect for looking out at the stars or having your morning coffee. It’s about 25m very hilly walk or 3m drive. There’s also a nearby pond just about a 5m walk away around candlight farms airport. A 10-15m drive brings you to downtown New Milford or in the other direction, Sherman. Both small towns offer quaint restaurants and shops. You’ll find a number of great antique shops and hiking trails all around the area.
