It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Knysna and all its attractions and conveniences. The space The house is situated high on Knysna's Phantom Pass road. You continue climbing the hill inside the private estate to get to the site. The house itself is built on stilts and comprises two storeys. Downstairs you will find a large deck, lounge with fireplace, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Upstairs you will find the open music room (with single bed) and main bedroom + en-suite bathroom. There are 2 balconies upstairs for doing morning yoga or for taking in the views. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the main house and parking bays below the house. The downstairs cottage and Wendy house are not included in the booking. Other things to note The estate provides potable tap water, although some guests prefer the taste of bottled water (which you can refill economically in Knysna town). There are lovely walks in the area through indigenous Knysna forest, including the famous Circles in the Forest trails. There is a gravel road that leads to the estate gates, navigable by any normal car. The road inside the estate is steep, but paved. There is a private splash pool adjacent to the house, and you would be able to swim in the lake on the estate, or visit the lagoon or beaches in the area.
