A charming cottage in the heart of Balingup close to the Bibbulmun Track. The house is on the main street but very private with a high fence and a large deck at the back overlooking a beautiful garden. The space This circa 1940's cottage has high ceilings and polished Jarrah floorboards throughout. Two queen bedrooms, one with French doors into a lounge room with an open fire, and work desk. Another lounge/dining room at the back of the house has a peaceful outlook through a wall of windows onto the deck and beautiful leafy garden. The kitchen has a gas stove/electric oven and microwave. Relax in the clawfoot bath with views out to the garden. The house is heated in winter with a Godin slow combustion stove in the main lounge and an open fire in the smaller interior lounge. if you don't feel like lighting fires there are free standing electric heaters. The main lounge dining room has split system air conditioning. Guest access One storage room and the shed are not available to guests. Other things to note The shower is over the claw foot bath. There is no television, but reliable WiFi is available and CDs, books and magazines. CD sound system and bluetooth speaker. The house is not suitable for toddlers for safety reasons but okay for babies and older children. Bring your own baby equipment. Wood provided in winter for Godin slow combustion and open fire.
