Private cottage 50 meters from Stångån

This cozy cottage is located in a high and peaceful location with a beautiful view of Kinda canal with bathing facilities in the summer. The cabin has two floors with a larger bedroom with a double bed, and a kitchenette on the ground floor and two smaller lofts with single beds on the upper level, no standing height. Toilet and shower are in our house next door. Outside the cabin is a wooden deck with plenty of seating. Water is found outside in the bathroom. Sheets and towels not included. The space The cottage is situated 50 meters from Stångån. There is a double bed, and 2 beds in the loft (best suited for older children due to steep stairs). Kitchenette with fridge, stove, oven, microwave and wood stove. Separate bathroom with toilet and shower is in the house next door (approx. 20 m). The cabin does not have water, so the dishes are washed in the bathroom (winter) or in the outdoor kitchen. Lovely patio and access to the jetty for swimming in Stångån. You book the SPA with hot tub and a sauna separately on site. Bring your own sheets and towels or rent them from us. Guest access You have access to the cabin, bathroom with separate entrance (toilet and shower), and to the large terrace with a view of the river. The terrace may sometimes be shared with us. Other things to note Kayak: Do you want to rent a kayak or canoe? We have two kayaks and two canoes. For rent for 200 SEK/each all day. Life jackets (mandatory) and paddles are in the storage room under the cabin. Contact us for keys. Warning! Some of the steps down to the river are loose! SPA bath: Possibility to rent for SEK 200/occasion (max. 3 hours). This includes sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. NOTE: It is important that you shower before bathing in the jacuzzi. Deo, shampoo, sunscreen, etc mean we need to change the water more often. Remember to put the lid back on when you're done to save energy and avoid dirt ending up in the water. Waste: - Food waste is collected in the "green bag" (separate roll of green plastic bags; this material goes to biogas production), - Sort packaging made of glass, metal, plastic, paper and paper packaging into designated containers at the garage. - Residual waste is placed in well-sealed plastic bags in the green bin behind the garage. Sheets and towels: You can rent sheets and towels from us for SEK 150 per person or bring your own. The jetty: The jetty is reached via a rather steep path which is not suitable for small children or people with limited mobility. The jetty is shared with the neighboring properties and must not be used other than for shorter swimming and kayak handling. Longer sunbathing is directed to the wooden deck up by the cabin, or to the grassy areas along the river. Payment for the rental of SPA, kayaks or sheets/towels is made via Swish or in cash and must be made before check-out.
