Secluded Stargazing Glamping Tent

Get away from it all and sleep directly under the stars in a deluxe bed. This secluded clear top canvas tent is located a short .1 mile walk from free parking next to the host’s garage. The hosts are available to you for questions or requests, while offering you ample privacy. The camp is equipped with some comforts you will find at home but is situated in a relatively quiet, wooded setting, allowing you to immerse yourself in a natural environment without ever having to really rough it. The space After parking your car(s) you will take a leisurely 2-3 minute walk to the Glamping site. We provide you with a wagon to pull your belongings and walking sticks for this easy hike through the woods. Once you arrive at the glamp site you’ll find a spacious, private, partially shaded clearing in the woods. The roomy 19 foot diameter tent is equipped with two Nectar queen beds made with cotton percale sheets, chairs, a bench, end tables, and a kitchen cart. Provided are extra wool blankets, books, games, battery powered lights, dishes and flatware, a Chemex coffee maker, grill basics, and kettle with drinking water. Here you can enjoy some complimentary tea, hot chocolate, or locally roasted coffee. You will have access to a bear safe cooler, large picnic table, and infrared propane grill. Lounge in an eno double nest hammock under the trees, or in an Adirondack chair around the propane fire pit. We take great effort to significantly reduce mosquito encounters. Additionally you are provided with natural and chemical insect repellant, a live lemongrass plant in the tent, 3 citronella fueled tiki torches, and a 20 foot radius Thermacell. Situated across from the tent is an exceptionally clean outhouse equipped with motion sensor lights inside. Outside of the outhouse is a hand wash station, bear resistant garbage container, and dish washing station. The clear top tent provides gorgeous views of the trees and sky with the option to shade with an indoor cover. There are plenty of shaded, sunny, and starry options for your stay. Guest access You will have a reserved well lit parking spot next to the .1 mile trail to the glamper. The trail and Glamping site are yours alone for the duration of your stay. Other things to note This is a relatively quiet setting in the woods. WiFi is available by the house and data works by the tent. Occasionally you will hear traffic, lawn machines, airplanes, fireworks, or practice gun fire. The vast majority of the sounds we hear at the Glamping site are natural. You will have plenty of opportunity to hear bird calls, the sound of the wind rustling the trees, and crickets at night. This is truly a secluded little getaway in very convenient proximity to stores, restaurants, festivals, beaches, and trails.
