This is NOT a shared space. This one story (no upstairs or downstairs neighbors) is a great retreat from the city. There are many parks to experience in the Lago Vista community where you can enjoy the lake with or without a boat. If you plan to visit the lake/parks please contact us so that we can ensure you have access. The city requires pre-approved passes, if not setup in advance your vehicle may be ticketed & towed. We can set this up for you. One of the parks offers an 18 hole disc golf course. If you enjoy this sport you will enjoy the course. Bring your discs or use some of ours. Most of the parks are just a 5-10 minute car ride away. The general area is growing and there are many places to eat and entertain yourself nearby. We are near Jonestown (15 minutes), Cedar Park (25-30 min), Marble Falls (40 min), Round Rock (45 min) and Downtown Austin (50 min-over an hour). We also often take day trips to Fredericksburg, which is about an hour and half away. If you plan to bring a boat or other watercraft please let us know so that we can ensure you know where to park. There is a boat rental nearby if you would like to rent a boat. There are many places to consider going to in or near town including a variety of restaurants, a diverse food truck park, a brewery, a vineyard, Balcones Canyonlands trails, and lots more. Prefer to stay in? Consider using one of the Wi-Fi enabled Roku televisions with Netflix (no cable) or play one of our board games, complete a puzzle, or read a book. There are televisions in the living room and primary bedroom. Our back deck is a great place to relax, bird watch, feed the deer, and/or have a glass of your favorite beverage. The deck is equipped with a charcoal grill. The back yard/deck is not fenced. There is also a corn hole set available for your use. We do not have a view of the lake though there is a serene wooded view. Enjoy relaxing at this peaceful place to stay. Please note: This is the Texas Hill Country. There are all sorts of wildlife and critters. This means you may see plenty of four legged friends and those with more legs including spiders, scorpions, flying insects, and many others. We do regularly have the home exterminated though, again, it is the Texas Hill Country and to enjoy the beauty you may have to endure a few unfamiliar critters. We hope this doesn't keep you from staying in the area! If it is an area that is typically dry you may run into any of these. Also, we do accept pets. Our cleaners do a thorough job though there may be some stray pet hair here or there. If this is a problem for you or a family member please consider this when booking. We hope this doesn't keep you from staying in our tidy little home. Guest access The entire townhome is available to guests. It is not a shared home. Other things to note We do allow pets though there will be a $50 flat fee and two pet maximum. A crate/kennel is required to be used if your pet(s) are left alone in the townhome.
