Cozy detached house with kayak/rowboat, 15 min from Oslo

Do you want a quiet holiday destination or a good starting point for excursions in the Oslo area? Our charming house is designed for families with children, but is also a cozy place for others. We have a nice cat, play equipment, trampoline, rowboat and kayaks for rent. Inside and outside there are plenty of seating places. Short drive to Oslo city center and attractions such as Tusenfryd, Oscarsborg Fortress, Technical Museum and much more. 1 hour drive to the Swedish border. Direct bus to Oslo and Ski center. The space The property is on several acres, so there is room to frolic. The house is located next to a road with a 60 km/h zone. No disturbing noise, but necessary to know for those with small children. You have to cross the road to get to the sidewalk. The sidewalk is nice for both cycling and walking. 2-3 km to the local environment with shop, bike path, playground, etc. We have a loving cat who likes to be petted, he can live both outside and inside - what suits you best. Indoors there are 4 bedrooms (including two smaller children's rooms), bathroom, toilet, kitchen and living room. There is a TV and piano in the living room. In the children's room there are toys for the little ones. The kitchen contains standard equipment such as oven, Mocca Master, dishwasher, etc. Washing machine and dryer by appointment. Guest access In the basement of the house is a separate apartment with a permanent tenant and 3 nice dogs. These do not make noise and never go loose. Private and sheltered parking, garden and porch belong to the detached house. Other things to note The host is a family with small children and wants guests to familiarize themselves with nearby water and road for safety reasons. We want our guests to supervise/feed the house cat. The cat can be kept outdoors during summer if guests prefer. We want our guests to leave the house tidy and clean when they leave. Cleaning supplies are available.
