Taking a stroll in the village and nearby cliffs is a great way to see the beautifully stretched Fiang village. Fiang is a quaint village with local community still practicing their age old customs and traditions, the guests should be considerate towards the same while adhering to maintain the harmony and peace. Guest access In addition to the booked rooms the guests will have access to the garden and the backyard of the farmstay. Upon prior consent, the guests can also access the farmland for authentic experiential farm life. During your stay You are encouraged to socialize with the Ladakhi family that you will be staying with. Feel free to ask them questions on their culture, everyday lives, and anything else that you may be curious about. Other things to note Fiang also known as Phyang is located about 25km away from the Leh Airport and is in a south-facing valley in the Ladakh Range of mountains. There is an old dilapidated castle near the cluster of Phyang on a hilltop. Just below this castle, there is a single-room temple, with paintings of Guru Lhakhang. The village offers breathtakingly beautiful view of the Stok range of Himalayas and is ideal for acclimatizing before kicking off further Ladakh escapades.
