This village house was a real coup de coeur for its owner who was seduced at first sight by its central wrought iron staircase, typical of Burgundian houses and gracefully serving all the spaces. On 3 levels, it consists of a kitchen, a living room, a large bathroom and 3 bedrooms furnished with taste and adapted to family life. Located on a square planted with plane trees in this small, quiet and benevolent village, it is a haven of serenity. The space On 3 levels, two of which are served by a beautiful wrought iron staircase, it is composed of : - On the ground floor: an entrance, a toilet under the stairs, a kitchen on your right, furnished with an oak table extensible to accommodate 6 to 8 people and an evolving child seat, fully equipped and with a solid oak worktop that will need to be taken care of, as well as a living room with sofa bed, television (4k) and internet access (Fiber > Free Pop box). - On the first floor, on the landing you can already admire the view of the small square with its large plane trees and see the presence of the local cats resting on cars. You will find on your right a superb room, called "Lavender Room" in reference to the painting, a large field of lavender, which inspired the decoration, furnished with a double bed 140x200 (bed in solid oak and slatted base + mattress Emma Original), a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, as well as a medallion chair found in the bulky and entirely renovated by craftsmen carpenter and upholsterer. The owner was keen to point out that most of the furniture was found, bought second-hand or carefully renovated with the help of craftsmen and artists from her circle, in accordance with her ecological convictions. Note that this room can accommodate a cot, ideal for being close to your baby and the bathroom for changing her/him! On your left, you will discover the vast bathroom and its superb tiles laid in a herringbone pattern. Everything has been designed here to accommodate adults or/and parents as well as children: you will find a large bathtub, a high work surface that serves as a changing table, as well as all the necessary equipment, a footboard, but also a toilet and a potty, coloured towels and laundry baskets, bath toys and everything you need to clean, iron and even dry thanks to the washing machine options. On the second floor, on the landing, is the reading corner, her son's favourite activity, furnished with a teepee, a floor mattress and pretty cushions. On the left, a children's room, called "Belles de nuit", for its pretty summer flowers which open at night and close during the day, furnished with 4 tatami mats and 4 futons (japanese way) which, stacked or not, allow the sleeping of 1 to 4 children, like a dormitory! On the left wall, the owner was inspired by Ikea hacks to design a large desk full of storage space, thanks to the EKET modules on which is fixed a large treated and varnished pine shelf and the addition of the TROFAST wall shelf and a small Montessori type book shelf FLISAT. On the right, a room, called "Chambre Olivier" in shades of green, furnished with a 140x190 bed (old solid cherry wood bed with slatted base + Emma Original mattress), a desk corner (ideal for teleworking) and behind which is a dressing room and a small window allowing the air to circulate on both sides of the room in summer. Even if the house is north facing, it is good to breathe the "Cers" (wind of the region). Guest access The house is easily accessible and there is free parking in front and behind the house, as in the whole village. Other things to note This is the owner's main residence and she wishes to write off the work she has done on the house. There are still a few improvements to be made. For example, she would like to stitch the brick wall in the living room or renovate the walls of the toilet under the stairs. This house deserves all the respect she has given it and we hope you will be as charmed as we were.
