No two of our rooms are identical, with unique layouts based around the 19th-century style Moroccan decoration. We offer the ideal harmony of affordability and convenient amenities for a complete stay. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable trip, including Wi-Fi, a microwave, fridge, and private bathroom on every Suite. Only 12 minutes from the main place (Jemaa el-Fna), our historic Riad is just a short walk down the souks of the Medina of Marrakech. Riad Muima offers travellers a refreshing alternative to large chain hotels, while still offering all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Combining 19th century charming Moroccan architecture with 21st century comforts, Riad Muima is a dazzling, multifaceted jewel only the luckiest travellers know of. We are named after, and work to honor, Muima, which is the Arabic word for Grandmother, who took care of the family's Riad through many years with her husband (The grandfather). Working remotely? Special requests such as setting up a personal workspace in the Suite of your choice can be accommodated. Let us know in advance and we will make sure that you have all you need to come work remotely as well as bringing the rest of your family so that you can spend some quality time together! Light Sleepers: By choosing Riad Muima you will have an authentic experience of the Medina! It's Marrakech and we are in Morocco, a Muslim country where the practice of religion is punctuated throughout the day by calls to prayer by the Mosques. Early in the morning, these calls can generate an inconvenience for fragile sleep. It's difficult to avoid it... be prepared! If you are a light sleeper, might be useful to note it. Guest access Only registered tenants will have access to the entire Riad. Other things to note Moroccan Laws: Moroccan law is extremely strict on relationships between Moroccans and foreigners. Therefore, it is strictly forbidden to bring people other than the registered tenants into the Riad. Moroccan law prohibits hosting a couple of Moroccan nationality, without showing a marriage certificate. Keep in mind that if one of the travelers has a Moroccan nationality, we must verify the marriage certificate. THIS LAW ONLY APPLIES TO MOROCCAN COUPLES.
