Comfortable Accommodations conveniently located 1 block from the Kedzie Green Line Station The space The space is in an old victorian era (c.1895) limestone/brick mansion located on Chicago's west side in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. It overlooks Washington Blvd. and is about a block from the Kedzie Green Line Train. Please note if you book, this is an old house, with over 125 years of living. This means lumps, bumps, scratches, and things in general that are less then perfect. Most people enjoy this character of a house, and it's why they book. I allow LUGGAGE DROP OFF! You can store your luggage in the closet before check-in and after check-out times, you can drop it off and pick it up as early and as late as you would like. Public transit options (train, bus, bike share) available about a block away. Guest access You'll have access to your private room, and the common areas of the house including kitchens/bathrooms. During your stay GIven the size of the house and our schedules, we may never cross paths. I'm always available via messages/phone, so if anything comes up, let me know! I assume everything is going well unless it's brought to my attention. I'm happy to provide advice on where to eat, how to get around, and where to shop, just ask! Other things to note I mention this in the neighborhood section of my listing as well, but it's worth repeating here. Please do your research and know where you are booking. I've lived here for over 10 years and never had a concern for my own safety or that of the thousands of my guests. Also, please note that I don't have keyed locks on interior doors of the home.
