Situated at the edge of the Periyar forest, Avadale Thekkady is a quaint resort with large rooms, modern amenities and an on-site restaurant. Surrounded by lush greenery, Avadale Thekkady is an oasis of peace & quiet yet situated just a couple of KMs from the hustle & bustle of the tourist town of Thekkady, the gateway to the Periyar Tiger Reserve. And while you’re staying here with us, our friendly little neighbours - the Lion-tailed Macaque & the Malabar Squirrel may drop by to say hello! The space The Family Suite is a two room unit with a large common area where families / groups can sit and relax. Each of the rooms is a large room and comes with 1 king size bed, a study table with chairs and a flat screen television and an independent bathroom. Guest access Restaurant - Choose from a variety of finger foods, buffet meals and beverages. Our menu is frequently changed to incorporate delicacies suggested by our chef and our guests. Rooftop Sitout - Spend time on our the rooftop sit out that oversee the lush greenery of the jungle. Our friendly neighbours Giant Indian squirrel and Lion tailed monkey might pay you a visit. Other things to note We have a strict NO STAGS policy so our resort does not allow all-male OR bachelor groups. As per regulations, a valid government issued Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18. The identification proofs accepted are Aadhaar Card, Drivers License, Voters Card, Passport. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in.
