Walk to Beach, Generator + Water Backup, Parking

Casa Sophia is a completely remodeled 3 bedroom & 2 bathroom third-floor apartment in the heart of Condado (but away from the loud boulevard). Stay comfortable no matter what the island throws at you — we have a full power generator and a water cistern backup, so you’ll never lose power or running water during an outage. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, hotels, parks, coffee shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. It’s a 10 min drive to the airport, Old San Juan, and La Placita. The space Casa Sophia (named after our daughter) is our home away from home. It was designed to be relaxing, yet very functional for hosting guests. The apartment was completely remodeled in 2023 and everything is brand new (appliances, A/C units, TVs, water heater, etc). 🛋 The living room and lounge areas are air conditioned, have a sofa with some blankets, lounge chairs to enjoy your morning coffee and a 65" Roku TV for watching a movie or show. 🍽 The dining area has a big table with 6 chairs. You have everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal or order delivery (cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, etc). 👨‍🍳 The kitchen has Samsung appliances (refrigerator, electric range with oven, and microwave). The refrigerator makes ice and has a filtered water dispenser. 🍳 We love to cook so we have pots, pans, utensils, and a blender. Everything you'll need to enjoy a meal at the apartment. ☕️ We usually start our mornings with some breakfast. Apart from the toaster, we have two coffee machines. One is a Keurig pod machine (we provide a few pods for guests). And an espresso machine so you can enjoy some local coffee (be sure to buy some!) 🛏 Every bedroom of the house has an A/C unit, solar shades, blackout shades, a TV, plenty of closet space, nightstands with a light and outlets to charge your devices, clothing hangers, and a suitcase stand. The master bedroom has a king bed and a full private bathroom with a shower. It also has a computer desk with a chair to work remotely (hopefully you don't have to!). The other two bedrooms have queen beds and share a full bathroom with a shower. 🧴 Both bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, body gel, and hand soap. We also provide 6 clean towels, some hand towels, and make up towels. 👕 Our washer and dryer are in one of the bathrooms and are free for you to use. There's also an iron with a board and a steamer. 🌐 We sometimes work remotely, so it's important for us to have fast internet. We have a mesh wifi network with ~400mbps. There are some things that we find useful when traveling but are hard to transport that we provide our guests too: 👶 If you're traveling with a baby, we have a foldable crib, baby chair and baby shower tub. 🏖 If you want to go to the beach, we have beach towels for every guest, 2 beach chairs, paddles, a cooler, and some beach toys for the kids. 🎲 If you want to have a fun night in, we have different board games you can enjoy as a group. Guest access The whole apartment is for you to use. There are two closets that are locked with cleaning supplies and our personal belongings, but don't worry, every bedroom has plenty of closet space for you to use. You'll be able to use our parking spot inside of a gated parking lot adjacent to the building. The building lobby and parking lot are secured with keypads. The apartment door also uses a keypad. You'll be given the codes the day before check-in. Other things to note Please note that the apartment is on a third floor and has no elevator. We take having a clean apartment very seriously which is why we hire a professional cleaning company between guest stays. We also take safety very seriously which is why we have a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher and first aid kit in the kitchen. Both the lobby area and parking lot are private and only accessible to residents and guests of the building. There is absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed anywhere inside the apartment and the lobby/stairs.
