Cute cabin on a canal leading to Lake Kerr. No pets allowed. The space The kitchen, living room and dining area are downstairs. The upstairs loft/suite is very spacious for singles and couples and has a king size bed, 50 inch Roku TV, office desk and work chair, full bathroom and sliding glass doors leading to a private upstairs deck. The kitchen is small but has everything you need including an oven, stove, microwave, mini fridge, air fryer, Keurig coffee maker, silverware, utensils and pots and pans. WiFi included. Other things to note 🐾 Important Pet Policy Information – Please Read Carefully We have a very strict no-pet policy, including emotional support animals (ESAs), due to severe allergies in our family and the presence of young children. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), only dogs that are individually trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability qualify as service animals. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not considered service animals under federal law and are not granted access rights to private short-term vacation rentals. In the state of Florida, falsely claiming that a pet is a service animal is a second-degree misdemeanor, punishable by fines and/or jail time under Florida Statute § 413.08(9). Guests who misrepresent their animal as a service dog or violate our pet policy may face immediate cancellation of their reservation without refund, and may be reported in accordance with the law. Unfortunately, we’ve been burned in the past by guests falsely claiming their pet was a service or support animal. This has led to extensive cleaning and pest control treatments, as well as lingering allergens that pose serious health risks to our family and future guests. In addition, the presence of animals scares away the deer and bears that regularly visit the property — and enjoying this wildlife is one of the main reasons guests choose our cabin. If you are traveling with a legitimate service dog, we are happy to work with you, provided the following conditions are strictly met: The animal must be trained to perform a specific task related to a disability. The animal must never be left alone inside the property. The animal must not bark excessively, disturb neighbors, chase wildlife, or otherwise disrupt the peaceful environment. All waste must be promptly cleaned up and disposed of properly. We fully support the rights of individuals with disabilities and are glad to make reasonable accommodations within the law.
