Totally independent chalet at an altitude of 900 m in the Saurât Valley, close to Tarascon sur Ariège. Large plot, south-facing exposure. Exceptional view of the Pyrenees mountain range. Quiet and warm place ideal for nature lovers. Perfect for a stay with family or friends. There are many hiking trails nearby. Shop in Saurât (grocery store) 5 km away, other amenities in Tarascon (12 km). The space Independent chalet on two levels. On the ground floor: living room / kitchen of 35 m2. Integrated kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, freezer. Upstairs: a large independent bedroom with a 140 bed and a landing with a 140 bed with curtains. BA and separate WC. In the attic: dormitory in the attic with two 140 beds + one 90 bed. Utility room with washing machine, clothesline and barbecue. Duvets and pillows are provided. Linens not provided but can be rented (payable to the owner): Rental of a set of sheets + 2 pillowcases: €15. Bathroom linen rental (2 bath towels + 2 large towels + 3 dish towels): €15. If the tenants do not wish to rent the bed linen, they agree to protect each mattress and duvet. The rental must be returned in the same clean condition as when you arrived (except in the event that the end-of-stay cleaning option has been chosen, at a cost of €100). The chalet is 1 hr 15 minutes from Toulouse, 45 minutes from Ax-les-Thermes, and 1 hr 15 minutes from Andorra. Several climbing sites, including one 4–10 minutes away (Bédeilhac). Water sports center with ski lift in Mercus-Garrabet 15 minutes away. Rafting, canyoning, and via ferrata in Vicdessos 1 hour away. Multiple starting points for walks and hikes from the cottage. Col de Port is a 15-minute drive away. Other things to note Drinking water in the accommodation but coming from a natural source. Can be used for the toilet and kitchen, however we advise you not to drink it. A pack of water is available. The field in front of the house is not fenced
