Feel free to use the washer and dryer ( no quarters needed). ***Please note that what is listed as bedroom number 2 is not a legal bedroom as there are no windows. The entire suite is yours. There are two locked doors to enter the apartment, one at street level and one at the top of the stairs. Your own private entry. You will have your own off street concert driveway/parking. We are not always around but are always a phone call away. Welcome to R&R German Suite and to New Ulm! New Ulm has a very rich German Heritage. There are several historic events that have occurred here. Most notably the Dakota Indian Uprising which happened in 1862. The town of New Ulm was almost entirely burned to the ground. By visiting th Brown County Historical Museum would give you more information about this event. Other sites you may want to visit are the Glockenspiel, Herman the German, Schells Brewery( the second oldest family owned brewery in the nation which is 160 years old), Flandrau State Park, Morgan Creek Winery, German Bohemian Park (along with many other parks throughout the city), there is also a bike trail (located across the street from the suite). Many things to do or see are within walking distance or a short drive away. Keurig coffee maker and coffee is available. Usually a bottle of red and white wine, might be a couple of cans of Schells beer in the fridge. PLEASE, the beverages are for your enjoyment while you are staying in the Suite. If you do not drink them during your stay, please leave them in the suite for the next guest. Must be able to climb 15 indoor steps to enter apt. Snow plowing is provided for driveways and front porch. Never sure what time they will get to us but they always come and do a great job.
