Monaukai Cottage - breakfast included

Monaukai Cottage is set within the grounds of Monaukai Estate a small farm on the outskirts of Majorca, Victoria. Surrounded by native planting you’ll enjoy the local wildlife and views to Paddy’s Ranges from the front veranda. Bush walking and fishing spots are nearby as well as wineries and small towns rich in Gold Mining history. Monaukai Cottage is a peaceful escape to nature only two hours from Melbourne. The space The cottage is a two bedroom and one bathroom cottage with a central living, dining and cooking area. There are two comfortable queen size beds and hanging space in each bedroom. The bathroom has accessibility aides by way of grab bars and non- slip flooring. A shower chair is also available. The kitchen consists of a free standing gas stove and oven combination and a small fridge, perfect for keeping your weekend goods cool. All crockery, cutlery and glassware is provided. The Living room has a two seater couch and two arm chairs around a central coffee table for perfect board game nights or morning coffee. A smart TV is located in the sitting area and wifi is available for access to streaming services and a limited outdoor internet service. Guest access Guest will have exclusive access to the cottage and immediate area which includes an outdoor dining table and fire pit area. Guests are welcome to view gardens and livestock but are reminded that this is a working farm and not to open gates and abide by all signage for the safety of themselves and livestock. Please also note due to the significant bird life and stock in surrounding paddocks pets are strictly not allowed at Monaukai Cottage. Other things to note Monaukai Cottage is working towards more sustainable hosting and has begun to introduce measures to meet eco-friendly accommodation standards. We aim to tread as lightly as possible on the environment we share. Monaukai Estate is located a short drive from Tallaroop Reservoir which is an excellent spot for fishing, kayaking and other non- Petrol boating sports. Whilst families are very welcome we remind guests that children must be supervised at all times as there are dams, animals and farm machinery on Monaukai Estate. Breakfast supplies are provided and included various cereals, condiments, tea bags and coffee pods. As well as milk, orange juice, yoghurt, butter, fruit toast/muffins, pancake mix, maple syrup and bananas. We are happy to meet dietary requirements and welcome guests reaching out regarding this. Marshmallows are also included to enjoy with the fire pit.
