Live a true authentic Acadian experience in La Maison McLaughlin! Ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a vacation in the Acadian Peninsula. The spacious yard is perfect for pets, backyard games, barbecues and picnics. 2 minutes away from the Golf Driving Range and 7 minutes away from the beach. The space This 1.15 acre property has plenty of space for backyard games, pets and more. A charming centennial house, modernized with functioning Wi-fi and streaming devices. Power outlets can be hard to find but there is at least one per room. Living room : Two sofa beds for additional sleeping space (bedding for sofa bed is available upon request). There is a work space and a reading corner. Puzzles and a poker set can be found in this room. Kitchen/Laundry area : The odd layout is due to the kitchen sink area and dining room being added later on in the house’s construction. All cooking, baking and dining essentials are in the kitchen sink area and in the white cabinet next to the stove. Dining room : Total of 8 dining chairs + the 2 patio chairs to fit a total of 10 around the table. Dish sets in the armoire are decorative so we ask that you do not take them out. Washer and dryer are at your disposal. In the cupboard above the washer are laundry essentials and spare sheets for the beach or to sit outside. Vacuum and steam mop are located in closet across from washroom. Bedrooms : All located upstairs with queen-sized memory foam mattresses, clean cooling microfiber bedding and all-season hypoallergenic comforters. Bathrooms : The full size bathroom with shower is located upstairs. There is a 1/2 bathroom on the main floor. Backyard : Patio set, picnic table, barbecue and a few extra chairs. To turn on the patio lights, you need to plug in the orange extension chord at the front entrance of the house properly. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire property with the exception of storage room and the shed in the backyard. If something is missing, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate. Other things to note It is possible to host more than 10 people upon request. We can allow guests to bring air mattresses or tents. Travellers with motorhomes are welcome to park on property. It is not allowed to have more than the allotted 10 people without authorization from owners.
