The Ranger Inn on Badgers Island

Located on historic Badger's Island in Maine's oldest incorporated town (Kittery), this condo has breathtaking views of the classic New England town of Portsmouth. From every room, guests can enjoy the views of the Piscataqua River and Portsmouth waterfront. Equally serene and whimsical to the views is the coastal decor of our home - soft hues, natural colors and tranquil vibes. A perfect location for quick access to Portsmouth and Kittery downtowns. The space The space is open, airy and tranquil - a perfect place for an individual, couple or (small) family get away. The condo is two stories and located on the second floor of the building. Guests will need to climb stairs to access the living area and bedroom. There are no elevators available. This is our home, so it is equipped for our lifestyle and family. Our property is located on the southern most tip of the state, making it the first property of Maine. We are a working waterfront, guests can enjoy watching fisherman coming and going from the day's catch. The property is minutes (an easy walk or quick drive) to Kittery and Portsmouth downtowns giving guest easy access to great shops, restaurants and other local activities. In the summer months, the property is host to a restaurant - Buoy Shack - and where guests can enjoy the hustle and bustle of local tourism and of course, a classic Maine lobster roll. Guest access Guests will have access to all of the living areas shown in this post. 1 bedroom (not photographed or shown in this post) will be locked and inaccessible to guests. Parking for two cars will be provided. We have chickens on the property and are happy to supply fresh eggs to guests as requested. Other things to note Our building is host to three other units and long-term tenants. Please be aware of this and be respectful to our neighbors as this is their home too.
