The space This updated house features a full kitchen with everything you’ll need to prepare meals during your stay; you’ll just need groceries! (Full size fridge, electric stove with oven, microwave, coffee pot, pots & pans) There’s a dining table with seating for 6, a bar with additional dining space, as well as a cozy living room with a tv & space to gather with your group. Wifi is provided, and you can watch your streaming services on one of the 4 smart TV's, 1 in the living area & 1 in each bedroom. The dining table & bar are a great space to set up if you find you need to work from home during your stay. Great for remote workers! 30 minute commute to Harrison. 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with a full and a twin bed, offer plenty of space for everyone to sleep and relax. Each bedroom has its own smart tv and space to store all your things. The porch commands a view of the valley around the Buffalo National River that you can enjoy from the swing or Adirondack chairs. In warmer weather, enjoy your meals alfresco on the gas BBQ grill. The spacious yard is large enough to run and play for kids or pets. The fire pit and Adirondack chairs are perfect for spending an evening under the stars. The Buffalo National River is a certified International Dark Sky Park. The home has an outdoor security light provided by Entergy (sorry, it can't be turned off). Pets are allowed for a small fee. Washer and dryer are available for guests to use (always handy when you’re on the river or staying a while!). Our friend Robert grew up in this house, and the current owners started their family here. 3 rambunctious boys later, they’ve moved into a larger space. They welcome you to stay in their cozy house while you’re visiting the Buffalo River national park, only minutes away. This section of the Buffalo National River is floatable all year long. The Nest is a short drive to canoe and kayak outfitters, restaurants, & stores. The summer season in the Ozarks is always fun with lots to see and do. Hike, kayak, swim, cruise the back roads, stargaze, or just relax. This house is a perfect home base for exploring the Richland Valley and Ozark National Forest, including the Falling Water area with dozens of water falls, all accessible by backroads not far away. Cross the river at Woolum and climb The Nars, or watch the elk in the AGFC area at Richland. Guest access You have access to the whole house and the yard. Guests do not have access to the basement or outbuildings on the property. Other things to note We welcome up to 2 pets for a small fee. Please select that you'll be bringing them when you book. Clean up after pets just like you would in any public space. This house is in a rural area, and while we do our best to keep nature at bay, there might be occasional incursions of bugs and small pests. Contact us immediately if you need assistance.
