Description

After a long, hot day, you'll have an oasis to return to. This room is ideal for resting. Once you close the door, you won't hear a sound. With inverter air conditioning, coffee maker and minibar you will enjoy a practical and comfortable stay. It is located in the Jardines neighborhood, the quietest and most picturesque in the city. One block away you have the main Blvd., a Chedraui, an Oxxo and the best-kept section of the river (Check "El Barrio" for more info). *WE ACCEPT PETS* The space ► ► COVID-19: HYGIENE MEASURES ------------------------ We are taking the following steps to ensure your stay is hygienic and you feel safe during your stay: ■ We leave 24 hours between each guest ■ When the cleaning lady enters the room, she sprays Lysol and opens the windows to disinfect the environment ■ Sheets and towels are laundered after each guest with soap, vinegar, and hot water ■ The bathroom is disinfected with chlorine ■ Disinfectant liquid is used for mopping ■ Once the room cleaning is finished, all handles, contacts, tables, chairs, electronics and controls are cleaned with vinegar ■ Before leaving, Lysol is sprayed again and the room is closed. No one re-enters until the guest arrives. ■ The keys are handed over without physical contact ► ► YOUR PET IS WELCOME ------------------------ As dog lovers, we know the pain of leaving your pet at home. To avoid this, we decided to create this room, where you and your pet can enjoy. It has a large patio and a private entrance. That way you don't have to worry about the other guests. **NOTE** The cost per pet is $150 pesos per night if it is less than or equal to 20kg. If it weighs more than 20kg, the cost will be $300 pesos per night per pet. This extra is paid upon arrival. ► ► YOUR STAY ------------------------ This Suite is your starting point to savor Tuxpan as if you were a local. The adventure begins the day of your arrival, when you unload your bags and take a bath to go out and party. Just one block from the house you will find the Plaza Crystal. Visit the fast food area and fill your belly with a Big Mac (or venture out to try the stalls outside). Go home, turn on the air conditioner, put on your pajamas, and lie down to sleep. The next day you'll want to be fresh for the show that happens just a block away from where you are: a sunrise over the river accompanied by dancing herons, jumping fish and a live bird orchestra. You'll find small docks on the riverbank reserved in your name. They are the ideal platform for yoga, meditation or just enjoying a relaxed morning. If you prefer to run, tie your tennis shoes with a double knot and jog under the Flamboyanes, along the river bank to the end of the street. You will come across a set of outdoor equipment (palm trees included) where you can exercise your muscles. Return to the suite and prepare a delicious cup of coffee (we'll take care of the cookies) to recharge your batteries and go out to explore every corner that Tuxpan has to offer. ► ► THE HISTORY OF VILLA MANDARINA TUXPAN ------------------------ "I was always happy" Don Daniel repeated. A man with silver hair, furrowed skin, and slow but patient movements. At 89 (almost 90) years old, he spent his afternoons rocking on a wicker swing, the only piece of furniture he still had from the house. His Tuxpeña house. As a young man, he was a farmer. He grew oranges. Sweet and juicy, which mixed with a little sweat, a spirit of adventure, good business sense and the demands of Doña Esperanza, built the most beautiful house in Tuxpan. Well, that's what my mom's stories say, although her opinion might be biased. On one occasion, Esperanza needed a pair of jeans and went to buy them downtown. She hit it off with the saleswoman. While deciding between sizes 7 and 9, the conversation took an unexpected turn and the saleswoman mentioned: “Sometimes I go to the Jardines neighborhood, just to see the beautiful house that adorns the entrance. It's like a fairy tale. I wonder who lives there." Her panties must have loosened when Esperanza, with pride and a hint of presumption, raised her eyebrow and mentioned that it was hers. Since the construction, it was known that the heiress would be the youngest of the daughters. That's why, when Esperanza was unsure whether to put a toy store or a fireplace in the main room, she decided to consult her. She wanted a fireplace, like in the movies. Forty years after the first stone was laid, Don Daniel died and the house passed to his daughter. A few days later, she received a call from a notary, who explained that he had always dreamed of setting up his offices in Don Daniel's house. He made a generous offer to buy. It was rejected because Don Daniel's daughter always had it clear. Such a beautiful house can only have one function: Open the doors wide and welcome travelers who know how to enjoy its marble floor that mitigates the heat, the cedar walls that in the afternoon release the smell of the forest and the golden aluminum gates, a vestige of a bygone but happy era. If you are one of them, VILLA MANDARINA eagerly awaits you with the best that Tuxpan has to offer. Guest access ►► DURING YOUR STAY YOU CAN ENJOY: ------------------------ ■ PRIVATE ENTRANCE ■ A FRESH SUITE - Ideal for two people - Heat-pump type air-conditioning - Double bed with bedding - Closet - Flat screen with Sky - Breakfast table with chairs for two people - Pet mat and dishes (if needed) ■ PRIVATE PATIO - An exclusive patio for you and your family. ■ BATHROOM - Vintage tiles and finishes - Shower with hot water and aluminum screen - Towels ■ WELCOME KIT - Drinking water - Tea and coffee - Cookies - Coffee maker with two cups ■ AMENITIES - Coffee Maker - Mini fridge - Microwave oven ■ CONVENIENT LOCATION Your stay is in Colonia Jardines de Tuxpan, the quietest and most picturesque in the city, with easy access to the river bank and the main boulevard. ■ Visit the "The Neighborhood" section to get: - 7 must-have mini adventures in the area - A guide to places to eat according to your budget - Times and instructions for getting to the main attractions During your stay You will be welcomed by Mariana, who will give you guidance on the space and surroundings. This way, you can make the most of your vacation and enjoy Tuxpan as if you were a local. She doesn't live in the house, which gives you total independence, but you can contact her if you need support. ■ As a hygiene measure, the keys are handed over without physical contact. Other things to note ►► A RELAXATION SPACE Villa Mandarina is a family-friendly space where you can relax. Out of respect for guests and neighbors, we ask that you enjoy it in a quiet way. ►► NUMBER OF GUESTS The room is designed for two people. If you book for 3, we can put a mattress for the third person. Please note that access to the house is only allowed for the number of people listed on your reservation. ►► INTERNET ACCESS Internet service in Tuxpan is limited and there is not much we can do to fix it (although we are trying). This room does NOT have a WiFi signal. If you need internet, you can go out to the common area. However, the signal is weak and unstable. For a better connection, you can go to the Italian Coffee in Crystal Plaza, which is a 3-minute walk away. ►► IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH A PET We have some guidelines to ensure you have a happy stay. Please check them before booking. - The cost per pet is $150 pesos per night if it is less than or equal to 20kg. If it weighs more than 20kg, the cost will be $300 pesos per night per pet. This extra is paid upon arrival. - Your pet must be over 1 year old - A maximum of 2 pets are accepted - At no time can you leave your pet alone - neither in the room nor in the garden. If you go out, you must take it with you. - You will be responsible for picking up the feces left in the garden and cleaning if it does its business in the room - If there is any damage or damage to the room, a portion of the deposit will be taken to cover the repair - We are not liable for your pet under any circumstances.
