Dive into the history of this unique and memorable place. Our 2 bedroom cottage is located on Vredeinheim wine estate, on the same road than Spier wine farm in Stellenbosch. It will offer you a double bedroom with En- suite and also a 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and en suite bathroom. Living room with lots of books to read, TV with full Dstv and Wi- fi The garden is lush with grass and enclosed parking area. The farm itself offers a variety of activities from wine tasting to more. The space Located on Vredenheim wine estate. The owner and her mom stays in the main Cape Dutch style house next door semi attached to the cottage. Much to do on the estate: Big Cat Game Viewing from Lions to Cheetahs Wine tasting The restaurant - "Feestafel" offers breakfast & lunch. For dinner there is no restaurant on the farm, but Salt at Neetingshof estate, Asara & Spier is all close by for dinner options. Camino Tours can take you on a booked wine tour This cottage now has n mini kitchenette since June 2024 with a washing up basin and drying rack, electric kettle, microwave and Air fryer or electric frying pan. Perfect for a tourist visiting wine country to enjoy a tranquil setting on a wine estate with lush gardens. Wi fi and TV available with full DSTV included. Lush garden with grass, round table & barbeque facilities amongst the old Cape Dutch style architecture. Guest access Entrance through a electric gate & then into the glass door. Safe parking behind a electric gate. The whole unit will be private and for yourself, although it is right next to the main house with the owner and her mom living there. Private grass area to sit outside to the left of the entrance.Barbecue available with table and chairs for 4 people and a small playground for kids. Please note the double wooden door inside the living room is locked and the grass and pool area is for private use of owners only. This is also where the dogs are kept. Other things to note Please note there is kitchenette with basin, microwave, kettle, plates and basic grocery. We provide a coffee nook, rusks milk and tea. There will be wine glasses, Bubbly glasses and plates and cutlery if you perhaps want to nibble on some cheese for a light meal. Restaurant on the premises and many close by like Spier, Asara or Neethlinghof estate You will be welcomed with a free bottle of wine & water The cottage has solar panels for electricity. Thus Please only use one appliance at a time. Please do not use the kettle, microwave or electric frying pan all at once - then the electricity will kick off. Please note there is functions from time to time at the wedding venue thus there might be a potential to noise. The owners mom is older and the TV could perhaps be heard at night till 10pm next door from the main house.
