Description

This beautiful, cozy, and sophisticated cabin is perfect for those who want to escape the everyday grind and immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Our cabin is packed with love and personality, featuring rustic decor, modern furnishings and all the comforts you need for a truly memorable stay. Soak in the surrounding mountains, forests, and wildlife from the spacious deck or cozy up to the fireplaces with a good book or loved one. Suitable for the whole family The space Set at 9,000 ft elevation, you’ll have two bedrooms, a finished basement, and a full bathroom. Our authentic wood cabin comfortably sleeps up to four guests per park county guidelines. We offer comforts for the whole family - the babies and toddlers to your four legged companions (pet fees apply). There’s an electric fireplace and seating area upstairs for entertaining and visiting with company or just enjoying the solitude while getting lost staring out the windows. Head downstairs to sink into the warm hug the living room embraces you with. Turn on the infrared fireplace and TV to kick back on the sofa. We offer Apple TV where you can login to any of your subscriptions. If you’re feeling ambitious, you can utilize the fast wifi to get some work done at the dedicated workspace or get your body moving with the workout gear we offer. Need to entertain the littles? There’s space and activities to keep them busy and happy also! You can’t forget the main level deck as well as the patio from the walkout basement to enjoy your time outside. The backyard has a fenced in area for your four legged family members. Our home is specifically curated to be low toxicity. We offer certified organic, GOTs certified, and natural products as much as possible. From the bedding and towels to the toiletries and cleaning supplies. We try to keep things as chemical free as possible, especially in those high touch spaces. Guest access Located at the end of a cul de sac on a hilltop, the acre property allows you to feel far enough from neighbors yet close enough to modern amenities. 4wd in wet months is recommended. You need to drive about a quarter of a mile up a dirt road and we have a long gravel driveway that can become snow packed. Guests have access to the whole house and property. **Please note we are mindful with who we share our property with. We will only accept listings from individuals who meet 2 criteria: 1. Have a completed profile 2. Have good review(s) from previous hosts Other things to note The main level of our home is an authentic wood cabin and it’s located in the woods. Despite our mitigation efforts, we cannot guarantee you won’t have a run in with bugs from time to time! Dogs are allowed for a fee. 1st dog is $50, every pet after that is an additional $25. Maximum of 3, please. Please contact us post booking so we can send any additional pet fees. Please also be diligent about following the “no pets allowed on furniture rule.” If we find that excess cleaning is needed from pet hair and cleanup, additional fees may apply. PLEASE NOTE - The grill is communal use. We expect our guests to clean the grill after their stay. A fee of $50 will be assessed if the grill is not cleaned after your stay. Roughly 1.5 hours from DIA and 1 hour from Downtown Denver. The commute up 285 is peaceful, beautiful and typically doesn't have much traffic. The town of Conifer is 20 minutes away. You'll find plenty of delicious dining options, unique shops, and friendly locals along the way. And if you're feeling adventurous, why not explore Staunton State Park, hike a 14er, or travel the scenic route of Guanella Pass into Georgetown? Easy access to nearby hiking trails, fishing spots, and wedding venues.
