This listed and modernized vacation home awaits you in the heart of Sommerhausen. It offers space on approx. 120 square meters for a vacation for two or the whole family. The central location in the middle of the village offers the advantage of short distances (Main, vineyard, cafes, restaurants, shopping, public transport). On some weekends, due to the location on the old market square, our guests are right in the middle of our great wine festivals (for dates see pictures). The space Looking for something special? Pastoriusgasse was named after the founder of the first German colony in the USA - Franz Daniel Pastorius. From the balcony of the vacation home you can see the old market square and the Pastorius House. Here you can end the mild summer evenings with a nice glass of Franconian wine. On the ground floor of the vacation home there is a small garage for a car (VW Golf size) and other adjoining rooms to store bicycles or the like, for example. Further parking spaces are located either in front of the house (for loading and unloading), on the Main or at the shooting range (both about 150-300 m away). The living area on the first floor consists of two bedrooms (double bed and French bed), a children's room with double bunk bed, spacious living room, bathroom with shower tub, fully equipped kitchen with small dining area and a second separate dining area. Of course, in addition to a TV connection (including Amazon Prime Video and Netflix), free Wi-Fi is also available. Important note: since we only do this on the side (we are fully employed with two children), we do not always have the opportunity to hand over the house in person. However, we have smart (digital) solutions - so you need a smartphone to access the house to open the lock with the help of the NUKI app. Further information will be available directly when you make the booking. Other things to note In the immediate vicinity is a small supermarket (Um's Eck - open 7 days a week) as well as various restaurants and cafes. The Main is about 3 minutes walk (Main bike path). Other gastronomic offers can be reached by bike (or by car) up the Main or down the Main in a few minutes. Thanks to the great connection to the highway, bus and the nearby train station in Winterhausen, excursions in all directions are possible. As a further special feature, there is a stair lift from the first floor to the living area, so that the stairs can also be overcome for people with certain physical limitations. Within the living area there are steps between the room transitions, so it is not completely barrier-free. Location of Sommerhausen Sommerhausen is located in the middle of the Main Triangle. Würzburg is about 15 km away, Ochsenfurt about 6 km, Kitzingen about 20 km. There are many recreational activities in and around Sommerhausen. Even more distant cities such as Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Bad Mergetheim, Schweinfurt, Bamberg or Bayreuth can be reached in 30 to 90 minutes. The amusement parks in Geiselwind or Tripsdrill are also reached in approx. 30 minutes or about 60 minutes. Many outdoor pools, thermal baths or fun pools are also nearby (e.g. Ochsenfurt outdoor pool, Aqua Sole Kitzingen, Nautiland Würzburg, Solymar Bad Mergetheim, Kissalis Bad Kissingen, Palm Beach Fürth/Nuremberg).
