The Drey, a pretty cabin in Surrey Hills AONB.

A luxurious, comfortable cabin under a mature oak tree at the bottom of a country garden. Wake up to wildlife on the terrace, watch the sunset by the fire, and fall asleep under star filled skies. Enjoy the BBQ or walk across the road to the cosy pub with fantastic food. Perfect for a romantic stay for two, or up to four guests with the very comfortable sofa bed. Cooper loves sharing his garden with one other dog (pls see our animal guidelines before booking). The space The generous living area opens on to a private terrace overlooking a large paddock. The terrace faces west and is a glorious sun trap in the afternoon, leading in to incredible sunsets and then dazzling starry dark skies. There is a chiminea with a good supply of logs, and a 3 burner gas BBQ. The TV has Netflix, iPlayer, 4OD. The kitchen area has a single hob and Sage oven which is small (size of a microwave) but can handle anything from roast chicken to pizza. There is also a breakfast bar area with locally ground fresh coffee. The bedroom features a luxurious King Size bed and views across a paddock. The living area has a very comfortable King Size sofa bed and wardrobe. The Scarlett Arms is literally across the road, it is dog friendly, cosy, has a large garden, and serves good homecooked food,. There are 3 other pubs within a 4 to 6 mins drive, all are dog friendly and serve food. Guest access The cabin is completely private and detached, half an acre from the main house. Other things to note Cooper, our amazing dog, absolutely loves being an AirBnB host! He will welcome you on arrival and check in lots during your stay. Our half acre garden is fully puppy proofed and secure for maximum chases and zoomies. Cooper is very well socialised and well mannered. He is adores children of all ages, and is patient with nervous and smaller dogs. Cooper is chemically neutered (though please try to avoid girls in season as this is still very confusing for him! ) MOST IMPORTANTLY, SIZE REALLY MATTERS FOR COOPER SO WE WELCOME GIRLS UP TO LARGE LABRADOR AND BOYS UP TO MEDIUM LABRADOR. We don't mind noisy and cheeky dogs, but we can't take dogs who mount, or have any history of aggression to other dogs. Cooper will be growly with unneutered male dogs. For the well being of our dog and the lovely horses who live by The Drey, we don't allow fireworks. Pls note, we do not allow other animals (cats, rabbits), even when kept inside, just because they are too interesting for Cooper!
