Enjoy a breathtaking drive through the Narrow Hills Provincial Park and pull up to a cozy cabin for a relaxing getaway. Enjoy the sounds of nature around the campfire, and then have a snack in the covered porch as the rain starts to fall. Get warm in your bed while the wood stove crackles throughout the night. Wake up to mist coming off the lake and the warmth of your coffee mug in your hand. You are outside of cell service so you tune out any stresses. Sounds good, doesn't it? The space The space: 1,200 sq. foot cabin 2 Large Bedrooms (1 Queen on main floor and 3 Queens in the upstairs sleeping quarters) (Sleeps 4 - 8 people) Extra charge for over 6 people $25 night per person per night The long driveway can accommodate a camper trailer for $25/night, making it a perfect spot for meeting with friends. 1 full bathroom Fully equipped Kitchen Wood Stove / Propane Heat Tap water is potable, cold, and delicious Propane BBQ and fire pit with wood included (check for fire-bans before lighting up the wood firepit outside) 20’ x 11.5’ screened-in front porch A canoe with paddles and life jackets is available to rent for $100 for the duration of your stay. Coffee/tea bar w/coffee maker, electric kettle, mugs and some assorted teas A tiny house/bunkhouse is on the property as an additional/separate rental space. It has a kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster oven, sink, cutlery/dishware) and half bath. Local attractions: The Gem Lakes– arguably the most beautiful hike in the province, just look it up. Only 20 minutes away! Narrow Hills Provincial park– minutes away, vast and beautiful with plenty of nature to behold. Provincial recreation beaches right at Little Bear Lake and 30 minutes away at Lower Fishing Lake– both include concrete boat launches, docks, bathrooms and fileting stations. Over 70 fishable bodies of water within an hour, many featuring stocked trout (Splake, Brown, Tiger, Brook), native species (Pike, Walleye, Perch, Whitefish) and characters of interest (Lake Trout, Burbot). ATV and snowmobile trails– miles and miles of trails including the TransCanada trail which is groomed in winter time with warm up shacks for your breaks. Hiking– just pick a trail and go! Hunting– Whitetailed Deer, Black Bear, Moose, Upland birds. Mushroom and berry picking for those who like to forage. Great playground kids of all ages that includes a beach volleyball court and a basketball hoop. Local convenience store with the best ice cream and premium gas across the street. Guest access You will have access to everything on the property except the garage and the guest house. Other things to note Please Bring: - Beach towels (Hand, Face, Bath towels provided) - Toiletries (Toothbrush/paste, deodorant, shampoo, soap) - All food and supplies you need for your stay
