Tranquil hideaway in the heart of Ashdown Forest - this creative & comfortable Sussex cottage has private parking and a secluded garden ideal for BBQ's and long summer nights. You can visit the local pub, relax in the garden or enjoy long walks in the acres of beautiful forest on your doorstep. 10 mins to Pooh Bridge, 20 mins to Lewes / Forest Row, 45 mins from the coast and 40 mins from Gatwick. Children welcome over 10 The space My home is a beautiful forest retreat - clean and comfortable, with a creative vibe. The master bedroom is a good size for 2 people with a 4ft6 bed. The second bedroom is a smaller double with a 4ft bed - very comfortable for a single person or 2 people who like snuggling up! Please note: I will pack away valuables, and make space available for hanging / storing clothes. I will also clear space in the fridge and make sure there is a basket of wood for the burner in the winter months This cottage is loved and 'lived in' and will have many personal items remaining such as books, musical instruments, paintings etc. All there for you to enjoy. Please take care of them and treat them as you would your own things. The neighbours are happy to help if you need anything, please be courteous and the kind of guests we would like to have back Guest access You will have access to all areas in the house. The out buildings / office will be locked Other things to note There is parking for 1 vehicle on the driveway Technique for parking - please drive a little further along Back Lane (past my house) and then REVERSE into the space. Please do not park anywhere else along Back Lane - as these are resident spaces Alternatively, you can park extra cars by the Green or pub in the village and walk 3 mins down to the house
