This cozy space offers a full kitchen, relaxing living room, queen bedroom, and modern bath—all furnished new in 2025 for your comfort. Step outside to enjoy the private patio with BBQ and unwind after a day exploring the hills. Please note: Wi-Fi can occasionally be spotty—a common trait in our mountain towns, affected by weather and usage. Most guests find it a welcome reminder to unplug and truly relax. However, much of the time it works fine. As part of the historic charm of Lead, access to Sweet Pea is by steps down to the backyard level, or up from the garage, typical of homes built in this old historic Mountain Town. Guest access 🚪 Guest Access Guests have private access to Sweet Pea’s lower-level yard and patio—a quiet spot to relax, grill, or enjoy your morning coffee. Summer Access: Follow the fence line down the steps, take a right, and then follow the steps up to Sweet Pea. Once you navigate this you will learn the lay of the property and see other ways to navigate it to load and unload your belongings. Winter Access: Enter through The Nest’s white picket fence. The gate latch is on the inside near the mailbox, marked by a small fake flower sticking out of the fence. Walk to the back of the deck where a patio table sits and open the black gate which takes you down to Sweet Pea Pines. NOTE: Please relatch the gates when entering or exiting, as pets or children may be staying in the main home above. Also, be mindful of this! *If you're traveling with a pet, please leash them until you are in the lower level of the yard. As the upper yard belongs to The Nest property. Other things to note 🚗 Other Things to Note Parking is located on the upper level of Terraville Avenue. Guests may use the two spots in front of The Nest or the four spaces along the fence line down to the corner near the hotel. Please note: Lead is one of the historic Black Hills towns that was built long before large vehicles and multi-car families, so parking and access can feel cozier than modern neighborhoods—but it’s easy to navigate once you arrive and get the feel of your options. Once you get the feel of the location you will see you can enter off Dixon and unload and load from the alley also. ***A sedan will fit in the garage, if this is a preferred option please talk to host prior to stay.
