Modern Homer Apartment

We have a lovely 700 sqft ground floor apartment 1 mile from downtown Homer. We love using this space for friends, family & hospitality. It’s got what you need to stay for a day or two months. The space Completely separated from the rest of the home this apartment has its own entrance. With queen bed, optional queen air mattress, bathroom/shower, full kitchen with dishwasher & washer/dryer. Technically it would be considered a studio because there is no door between the bedroom and kitchen but feels bigger than that. You can set up an additional Queen bed & childrens beds in the space as well (or in the walk in closet). Small for a family but you’re welcome to use mattresses on the floor. We have a big grass yard with a view of the mountains and a fire pit you’re welcome to use. Guest access Our house Has three levels, and this is the lower level. You’ll have access to this level of the house and the yard with plenty of room for parking. Other things to note We have WiFi and there’s also an adapter that you can plug into your phone that connects to the tv so you can watch your phone on the tv. We do have small children, so there’s a good chance that you will hear them at some point between 7am and 8pm. Also, there’s a furnace intake thats randomly on for 10-15 minutes - mostly in winter months that is a little loud - but I’ve spent much time working on my computer next to it and you kind of forget about it after awhile. The entry way mud room is a shared space (with access to our freezer) that we rarely use - because we primarily use the other house entrance, but this is technically a shared entry room with a lockable door that closes off your apartment. If you’re looking to explore, we can offer multiple suggestions. We also have 5 acres and a cabin out in the wilderness about 25 minutes from our house. It’s 1 mile hike off of the road system, with a creek, a view of the glaciers, cabin, camping spot, rope swing, fire pit, and some other basic amenities. We can point you toward that for free as well if you’d like to visit or camp a night or two as well. Things you can borrow: -Kayak, life jackets, wetsuit -camp chairs -shore fishing poles/halibut poles for pollock, flounder, cod or halibut off the spit. You just need to buy hooks a bait. -camp fire starters for beach/marshmallow sticks -little kids bikes -hiking backpack/pack -pad/mat/beach towel blanket
