Sunsets in the West

Sunsets in the West is located in West Warrnambool - just a few minute drive from the town centre, the beach and most other local attractions. The house was built in the 60’s and has been a renovation project of ours for a few years now. It’s a cosy 3 bedroom home that would suit a family on a seaside holiday, a group of friends travelling the Great Ocean Road or perhaps someone needing short term accommodation in town for work reasons. The space The house is small, cosy and homely. All three bedrooms have a queen size bed and some storage space, for hanging clothes and also drawers or shelves. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. Bathroom is small with shower over bath, toilet is separate. Laundry has a washing machine, clothes dryer and all cleaning equipment and products you might need. There’s also a bar fridge in the laundry you can turn on if required. The kitchen has recently been partially opened into the living area by removing a wall, which has created a light filled and functional space. The kitchen itself is still original 60’s style, but it’s neat and has everything you will need; including a dining table with chairs, and updated appliances such as fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, oven and all new cups, plates, cutlery and cooking equipment. The lounge room area has two couches, coffee table, split system, gas heater, 55”HD television with Netflix, Stan, Kayo Sports and Nord VPN subscriptions and fast Wi-Fi in all rooms, with stunning sunset views on clear nights, hence the name! There is no undercover entertainment area outside, but as you enter the fully fenced backyard from the laundry door you will find a sitting area with a succulent garden and a small bbq. That area is usually very sheltered from the wind and sun. Enjoy the complimentary cold refreshments in the fridge and coffee/tea and the small selection of breakfast supplies in the basket on the kitchen bench! Guest access The entire property including the backyard is for our guests private use. Other things to note We have slowly been renovating the house since 2015, in between having long term tenants occupying it. There’s still plenty we are planning on doing in time, like updating the kitchen and bathroom and landscaping the yard and adding a garage. We always welcome any feedback, whether it’s positive or constructive, so we can improve areas that need improvement and focus on creating a functional and relaxing space for our guests.
