The house is in the romantic village of Eyrarbakki. It has a kitchen and living room in an open space, a separate space with a double bed, and a loft with three beds. The house was built in 1915 but was renovated recently, warm and cosy. The village is by the sea, is about 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik and 70 minutes from the international airport. It has a very nice restaurant, a bird reservation and more. The location is perfect for exploring the south and the golden circle. The space The house has a kitchen and a living room in a shared space. Off of that there are three steps that lead to the main bed room which is spacious and has a king size bed and a table. There is no door to this room so it is open into the living room. The 3 single beds are in a loft over the living room. The stairs leading to the loft is steep and narrow. The house accommodates a couple or a family with children very well. The bathroom has a shower and also washing machine and a dryer. Outside there is large green space and a deck with a hot tub. Guest access Guest have the whole space for themselves, except for a couple of cupboards in the bedroom and bathroom which contain the owners personal belongings. Other things to note The house was originally the home of the owner's grandparents who lived there for more than half a century with a few sheep and cows but also took jobs in the village. It has been renovated and has all modern commodities but retains the charm of an old farm.
