Claigan House B&B, by Dunvegan- King Room

Claigan House is a newly renovated, traditional farmhouse B&B. Nestled in a tranquil spot surrounded by farmland, hills and loch. A short drive from Dunvegan castle and a 25 min walk from the Coral beach. The area offers an ideal location to explore the many scenic and popular attractions on Skye with Neist point 16 miles to the west and Portree 26 miles to the south giving access to the Trotternish peninsula with The Old Man of Storr, Kilt rock, Staffin and the dinosaur footprints etc The space Claigan House is a recently renovated, traditional white painted, stone built farmhouse steeped in history. It can be traced back to the 17th century when it was part of the Dunvegan Castle estate under the control of the Clan MacLeod and occupied by a tacksman. This room is a generous king size en-suite with dual aspect windows offering views to Loch Dunvegan and over The Little Minch to the outer Hebrides. All of the rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, tv and WIFI. A breakfast menu offers a wide variety for guests to select from and is included in the room rate, it is served in the guest dining room. Guest access Guests have a separate entrance to family. This is via the front door which opens into a porch with outerwear storage, the hall off this has access to the ground floor double ensuite room and the guest dining room. The main staircase leads up to the 2 further ensuite guest rooms, a double and a king size. During your stay I plan to welcome all guests to Claigan House and give any information required to ensure a good stay. After this guests can easily find me and I'll be happy to help in any way. Other things to note Check in 4pm - 9pm.....check out by 10.30am. Breakfast is served between 8 - 9.30am. A breakfast menu is available and it would be appreciated if choices could be made at least an hour before to avoid a lengthy wait for service or food waste. This would be by completion of a menu card and left on the hall table for me to collect. Packed lunches and evening meals can be available (at extra cost) by prior arrangement. Please advise of any special dietary needs at least 24 hours prior to arrival. A drying room is available for wet outerwear. STL number HI-30132-F
