This hostel gets loud as we host live events and DJ's on weekends, we are located in the iconic Canmore Hotel built in 1890, rooms are above the turn of the century saloon inspired bar/restaurant. For our friends who are early risers, we suggest ear plugs which are available for $1 in our lobby vending machine. Enjoy the social interaction upstairs in the hostel, mingle and make new friends in the party downstairs. We look forward to hosting wanderers from across the country and the world. The space The iconic Canmore Hotel has been around since 1890, ’The Ho’ was notorious for its wild parties and the hotel above it was the place to rest and recuperate afterwards. After a 20 month extensive restoration and renovation, ’The Ho’ on the main floor is back as the largest nightclub in Canmore with a rocking new sound system and live music stage. The old hotel rooms have transitioned into a hostel where the old wood walls have been restored wherever possible. We are the only hostel in Canmore that is located on its most vibrant street – Main Street. The hotel features 2 XL outdoor patios, one on main street and another on the second floor for people in our bar/restaurant with breathtaking views of the 3 sisters mountain range. In the hotels back space, you will find an accessible Cannabis shop. Outside our doors you will find the Mountain market setup on Thursdays during the summer. Guest access You will be able to access the shared kitchen, lobby area and common area games room. We also have a large bar/restaurant on the main floor with 2 XL patios with spectacular views of the mountains. The bar hosts live events and DJ's on the weekends.
