The Miller Beach train station, with direct service to Chicago, is also a short drive away. Please note: a 2-night minimum stay is required - single-night bookings are not accepted. The space This well-equipped home includes: - A basement with a Smith machine, dumbbells, and washer/dryer - A sunroom/office with a dedicated workspace - A deck with a propane grill - Gas fireplace - Heated jetted bathtub (indoor, not an outdoor hot tub) - Philips Hue smart lighting (controlled via switches, an in-home tablet, and/or the Hue app) - Native Plant Garden and bonfire pit Entertainment options include Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video (pre-logged in, unless signed out by a previous guest). Guest access Guests will be able to access the entire home. Other things to note In summer 2023, the traditional lawn was replaced with a native plant garden, now home to bees, wasps, and occasionally shy groundhogs who pass through the yard via underground tunnels and sometimes stay under the deck. The garden is still maturing, but already attracts a variety of pollinators. If you’re allergic to bee or wasp stings, or prefer not to encounter wildlife, this may not be the best fit. Wasp/bee spray is available should any nests form near the home.
