A unique stay aboard a beautiful boat

Reconnect with nature on this unforgettable escape. Our beautiful Narrowboat isn’t like an average hire boat, it’s full of homely touches to make your stay a memorable one. You can chill in a picturesque location or as we have a self-drive license you can cruise either north or south from our base in Croxley, Hertfordshire. South takes you down to London in a couple of days or North takes you up through some wonderful countryside towards Berkhamstead and Aylesbury. A holiday with a difference. The space For any Harry Potter fans, our boat has an awesome story... it was made for none other than Timothy Spall- AKA the cowardly wizard Peter Pettigrew!! A magical time awaits! 🧙🏻‍♂️ 🐀 It is a popular sized 58’ narrowboat with a lovely cruiser stern deck for entertaining and a front deck to chill in. There is a double cabin with a double bed, and a twin cabin with 2 singles. The lounge has a sofa which drops down into a bed. There are lots of windows and port holes letting light in, also 2 skylights and a lovely side hatch. All the curtains have blackout lining and the beds have good quality bedding so a good nights sleep is assured. There is a log burner with logs for a few fires, and also central heating. We have 3 coffee brewing methods and a full wine rack, the wine is mini bar style, just so you don’t have to run out, pay for what you use. We provide a welcome pack with tea and coffee, salt and pepper and oil etc. Free wifi and TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+. The bathroom has a flush toilet, basin and modern thermostatic shower. Other things to note *Start days restricted to Saturday and Tuesday ONLY during June, July and August. This is to tie in with our calendars on boating websites. *NB. If you wish to cruise the boat, this can be arranged, and with a small charge of £100. This covers your 3 hour training and insurance.
