The king bed takes center stage in the main room, with a dry bar set in a nook and a cozy sitting area close by. A fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to spend time cooking and eating together. The grand bathroom has a soaking tub overlooking the serene forest, a large walk in shower for 2, floating vanity, and a washer and dryer too. Please note: there isn’t a door between the bathroom and bedroom- Enjoy mornings and evenings on the covered porch with ceiling fan or the fire pit just off the porch listening to the restful sounds of the forest. Around back is a hammock for 2! There is parking for one large vehicle or 2 smaller ones close to the cabin. Guest access The property is designed to casually stroll nature with 10 walkable acres. Find the quaint pond and remnants of the past farm life the property supported. We are in the on-going process of rehabilitating this old farm/homestead. There is much to clean up and do! You can stroll all through the forests, just don't cross fences, which are property lines. Please be aware, other guests have access to the forest and trails as well. Please be courteous and respectful of others. We ask you do not enter the old barn- it will be a remodeling project soon! Other things to note Due to the size of the hot water heater (small, confined space) the tub can be filled mostly- if you desire a completely full tub , it may take a little time to reheat. Please be aware, you are in nature! When out walking the property, please be aware of your surroundings, watching for snakes in the warmer months. No swimming/wading in pond. We are in a remote rural area, we do have limited groceries at the local Dollar General. Please bring food with you if you want to cook in house! Also, there is a liquor store, Dink's Liquor about 5 miles to the south. We now have high-speed fiber/WiFi. You will notice there are remnants from a farm past~we have worked extensively to clean up the more public areas but have much left to do. Thank you for your overlook of the mess!!
