Yew Tree Farm offers the perfect base for a Peak District Break for up to 8 people (plus 2 in adjoining linked Fox Cottage) . On the edge of the village of Tansley - near Matlock, Derbyshire. Easy access, parking on site and bus services on the doorstep, pubs within a stone's throw. We look forward to welcoming you and your fellow guests to enjoy a comfortable country break. Kids and dogs fine too by agreement The space An old stone farm house with separately rented converted attached barn cottage. (see Fox Cottage) Option to use Aga for farmhouse cooking and toasty kitchen in winter. This is a spacious and comfortable character property with a clean and cosy feel. It is listed as 3 bedrooms, but in reality there is ample room for 7 or 8 adults in 4 rooms, 2 king beds, one large double on ground floor and a 3/4 bed (small double very large single) in bedroom 3. The utility room / washer / drier may be subject to extra charge to cover energy costs and is shared between Yew Tree Farm and Fox Cottage, but each property is locked and private for guests' own use. If you have any specific requirements we are happy to see if we can accommodate them. Guest access You have private and exclusive access to the entire farm house and enclosed gardens. The utility room (laundry facilties) are locked and private but shared with Fox Cottage. Other things to note The property is located on a 25+ acre site with grazing pasture, crop fields, woodland and wildlife areas. There are Reed beds, bog land and ponds. If the weather is obliging and you fancy walking around, please ask for further info. Don't feed any animals or wander off prepared pathways.
