Manar House is a magnificent Georgian Category B listed country house set in the heart of the Don Valley, Aberdeenshire. Nestled in 65 acres of beautiful grounds overlooking the River Don, the estate is made up of manicured lawns and parkland, agricultural land and ancient woodlands. Resident native breeds of highland cows and highland ponies enjoy the lush pastures in front of the house and provide a great photo opportunity. The west wing suites are officially graded 5-star by Visit Scotland. The space The west wing of the property has been restored to an exceptional standard and is officially graded 5-star self catering by Visit Scotland (you can find us on their website). It is made up of 3 extremely spacious luxury suites with 7 bedrooms in total. Large enough for a big family celebration yet flexible enough to find yourself a quiet space when required! This listing is for exclusive hire of the entire wing, including the billiard room and boot room. The accommodation comfortably sleeps 13 adults. Good quality movable beds and a set of bunk beds are available on request for up to 4 children. There are also 3 full size cots available for infants. Other things to note We have been restoring Manar for around 5 years since we acquired the house and estate. We have documented this via our insta page @houseofhorspool. We live in the main part of the house with our young family and 2 dogs. Following completion of all the critical works to save the fabric of the building we focused our attention on the West Wing.
