The house was built in 1930 and looks like a green barn. It has hardwood floors throughout and 1.5 baths. Stove, ref, microwave, washer and dryer for you to use. Has central A/C and heat. I take my 2 dogs on walks in the neighborhood days or evenings. I can walk to Krogers grocery store. No smoking or drugs in the house or outside. Free parking on the street. Close to Miami Valley Hospital about 1 mile, downtown, UD and 20 min. to WPAFB. The space Your face must be recognizable in your profile photo. If it is not, your reservation will be canceled. It is for the safety of the other guests and me. I have 3 bedrooms in my home to choose from. The titles are: ‘Near Miami Valley Hospital, UD and Downtown Dayton,’ and ‘Stay in a 1930 home’ and ‘Yellow rm near UD, Downtown, Miami Valley Hospital'. Each bedroom room has a smart TV. No TV service. Bring your information for Netflix, Amazon etc. There are some free-watching options. There are hardwood floors throughout, except the bath and 1/2 bath and kitchen. None of the bedroom doors lock. There are door stops you can use while you are in the bedrooms. There have been no issues in the 10 years I have had Airbnb in my home There is a drop-down desk/table for your computer or work in this room. The double bed has a memory foam mattress. I am still rehabbing the house. I mostly have patching and painting left to do. The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. No food or drinks are allowed in the bedrooms. Except water. Please eat at the dining room table. Guest access All the other bedrooms and the office are private , and everything else is shared. Kitchen, living room, 1.5 bath, washer & dryer, 52" TV screen with Netflix in the living room, (no TV service) gas fireplace (during the winter), gas BBQ in the summer. Use any of the small appliances, board games or DVD's. This room is the first one up the stairs on the right. The bathroom is the first door on the left. There is free parking on the street and usually there is not a problem finding space near the house door. Don't park on the street directly opposite my house during business hours. During your stay Ask me if you need anything, and I will try to help you. You might not see much of me. But I have time to sit with you and visit a little bit. Other things to note Always lock the entry door when you come in or go out. Watch the dogs they will try to escape. So during your stay please be careful they don't get out. At night they are shut in my bedroom with me. I have a child's gate in case you want to leave your door open and keep the dogs out of your room. Because of my allergies and my dogs, other animals are not welcome.
