The cottages hold a rich history, with Star House having been a former pub, 'The Star,' and the smaller cottage serving as the village's 'Oddfellows Meeting Room' in 1750. A standout feature is the sunken conservatory, creating an amazing open-plan kitchen/dining room that opens onto a private patio. This unique layout offers the flexibility to gather together or find individual spaces within each cottage. Star House provides the perfect backdrop for relaxation, letting you soak up the ambience of your own country retreat in the picturesque Peak District. Conveniently situated between Buxton and Bakewell, this venue offers incredible walks right from your doorstep.
