The space Cottage 5 is a romantic one-bedroom oceanfront cottage designed for peaceful coastal getaways. The cottage features an open-concept living and dining area with large windows that showcase beautiful views of St. Margaret’s Bay. Sleeping arrangements include a king bed. The bathroom includes a two-person jetted bathtub and a separate shower, creating a spa-like space to relax after a day by the water. Guests can also enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, propane fireplace, private oceanfront deck with seating, and a propane BBQ for outdoor meals overlooking the bay. Guest access Guests have full access to their private cottage as well as the shared grounds at Wilson’s Coastal Club. This includes access to our guest-only private beach and waterfront areas of the property. The oceanfront sauna is available to guests outside of office hours and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests using the sauna must sign the required waiver and purchase firewood through the office during operating hours. Outdoor gear rentals such as kayaks, paddle boards, and e-bikes are available through the office during operating hours only. Other things to note Wood-Fired Hot Tub (Optional Add-On – $65 + tax): Guests can enhance their stay with a private wood-fired saltwater hot tub. Each hot tub is freshly filled with saltwater pumped directly from the ocean in front of the cottages, creating a completely natural hot tub experience with no chlorine or chemicals. Preparation requires a minimum of 24 hours notice and the hot tub cannot be added or cancelled on the day of check-in. Because these are traditional wood-fired hot tubs, they operate differently than electric hot tubs. • The tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled for every reservation • Water is pumped directly from the ocean • Heating is done entirely using firewood Heating time typically takes 4–7 hours depending on the season. In winter months the ocean temperature can be as low as 35°F, which increases heating time. Once prepared, guests maintain the temperature using the firebox during their stay. Hot Tub Add-On Fee $65 + tax (one-time fee) Includes: • hot tub preparation • initial heating to approximately 100°F • one tote of firewood • access to the oceanfront sauna during your stay Sauna & Firewood: Our wood-fired oceanfront sauna is shared with other cottages and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests who add the hot tub automatically receive access to the sauna during their stay. Guests who wish to use the sauna only may do so by purchasing a tote of firewood for $15 + tax per session and signing the required waiver. Additional firewood can be purchased at the office during office hours (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily, excluding holidays). Gear Rentals (Seasonal – Additional Cost): Outdoor gear rentals are available during office hours only, including: • E-Bikes – $25 + tax per day (10:30 AM – 4:00 PM) • Stand-Up Paddle Boards – $15 + tax per hour • Kayaks – $15 + tax per hour Availability is seasonal and weather dependent. Pets: Pets are welcome. A $20 + tax pet fee per pet/night applies (maximum 2 pets). Additional Guests: For one-night reservations, no additional guests are permitted on site beyond the number listed in the booking. On-Site Laundry: Coin-operated washer and dryer are available for guest use on a seasonal basis. Please message prior to your stay to confirm availability. Fireplace Notice: This cottage currently includes a propane fireplace. As part of ongoing property upgrades, propane units are gradually being replaced with wood stoves as they reach the end of their service life. Because of this transition, the fireplace may occasionally be unavailable during a stay. If a working fireplace is important to your booking, please contact us in advance to confirm availability. Fireplaces are considered a secondary amenity and refunds or discounts are not provided if the fireplace is unavailable. Guest acknowledgement: Please note that hot tubs, sauna use, and gear rentals are optional add-ons that require advance notice.
