This property is beautifully situated between the Kenai River ( 2 miles away) and the Cook inlet (approx 3 miles away), and 5 minutes from downtown Soldotna and Kenai. You are just off the main road to Homer as well! Gorgeous custom Log homes that can sleep up to 10. So perfect for a family reunion, or friends and family getaway. Complete with extra freezer in the garage to store your daily catch until ready to leave! See "Other details to note" for Rental agreement requirement for stay The space These homes were the dream of a custom builder from New York. They were built as his permanent home! He put so much care and talent into each detail. All the carvings and custom furniture you see he built! We hope that you will love and respect this beautiful piece of art as much as we do! If you want to do more than sleep in Alaska, but truly experience Alaska, JBs Alaska Getaway is for you! These homes are listed to rent separately as well, so if you can't find them on Airbnb, message me and I will get the listing numbers sent to you! The Main house sleeps 4, the guest house sleeps 6. ***An email must be provided upon booking. A Rental Agreement will be sent, and must be signed, dated and returned to the Host to complete the booking within 2 business days. Not doing so will result in forfeiting your booking***. Guest access You will have both homes, plus the freezer in garage, and ability to store you fishing gear in the garage. You are not allowed to do any fish processing on the premises!! If it is found that processing was done, you will forfeit your deposit. We would be more than happy to refer you to amazing fish guides who will process for you, or reputable businesses in town that can do it as well. You are welcome to keep your packaged fish in the freezer in the garage until departure. There is also a washer, dryer in the stone entry area of the main house. Other things to note ***An email must be provided upon booking. A Rental Agreement will be sent, and must be signed, dated and returned to the Host to complete the booking within 2 business days. Not doing so will result in forfeiting your booking***. The text of the agreement is below. Please read before booking. TV is available through Roku or Amazon fire stick. You will need to sign on to your account. There is also a DVD player and a small dvd library for you to choose from! We do not have Satellite/Cable TV. We observe quiet time from 11 pm to 6 am as this is a residential area, and need to respect others who live in the area. No parties or events are permitted. Please be aware that there are security cameras on the exterior front and back of the home to protect the house when it is vacant. No cameras are located inside the home, so cameras can only see what your neighbor can see. **The following is a COPY of the RENTAL AGREEMENT that will be sent to an email you provide upon approval and required for completing the reservation** Blank areas will be filled out based on your reservation details. JB’s Alaska Getaway Guest Occupancy Agreement (2026) , via __________ 1. This Guest Occupancy Agreement is entered into by Becky or Jerry Peters, Owners, and _______________ , Guest. 2. The Unit to be occupied by Guest is located at _____________ Soldotna, AK 99669. 3. TERMS Guest’s occupancy is for the following period: Check-in date: _______ , 202__ at or after 4 pm Check-out date _____, 202__ at or before 11 am. 4. UNIT RESTRICTIONS Dana Bayes is a quiet community inhabited by many permanent residents. Noise, smells, activity or vehicles that disturb our neighbors’ or community members’ reasonable, quiet enjoyment of their homes will be considered a violation of these Unit Restrictions. Thus, Guest agrees to comply with the following limitations on the use of the Unit: a. The Unit will be occupied by no more than individuals: ___ adults ___ children. This unit is not childproofed, and is not set up to accommodate small children. b. Guest or Guest’s legally responsible designee over the age of 25 must be on the premises at any time the Unit premises are in use by Guest or Guest’s visitors. No minors are ever to be alone in or around Unit premises. c. The Unit premises may not be used for any group activities, celebrations or parties. Maximum capacity in and on Unit premises is limited to ____ individuals (includes adults and children over 2). d. Unregistered guests are not allowed to stay overnight in the unit. Over occupancy is not allowed and will result in terminating your stay with no refund. e. For the safety of our guests and local wildlife, no cleaning or processing of fish of any kind may be done on the premises. Only processed and packaged fish done off sight may be brought to place in the garage freezer. Evidence of fish processing on sight will result in a loss of the security deposit. f. Guest may use garage for stowing fishing equipment, fish clothing including boots and freezer for prepackaged fish. Garage must be cleaned upon departure if used to stow gear. g. Guests and visitors must comply with quiet hours of 11 pm through 6 am in Unit, around Unit premises and throughout the Dana Bayes Community. h. No smoking or vaping inside at all, or on surrounding decks. Smoking allowed only in designated outdoor areas, as marked. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in provided ash receptacles in the designated area. Cigarette butts found in places other than receptacles will result in an extra cleaning fee. AirBnB i. No Pets, or pets from local visitors coming to visit. j. Park in the driveway in front of the Garage only. k. If staying in the Guest house only, do not cut through the Main house entrance as a shortcut to the laundry area or garage. l. No candles or incense to be burned in the Unit. We do have a fire pit to be enjoyed by all guests outside, and will update on Alaska’s fire protocol as we are informed. Firewood is not provided, and we ask it not be harvested off of the property. Firewood is available for purchase in many places in the area. m. Guest will read and follow house rules as listed on the booking sight, and in the binder in the house. n. Failure to comply with any of the Restrictions above, the community, or reasonable requests of neighbors or community members can result in immediate removal of Guest and the forfeiture of rents paid AND security deposit. o. As noted on the platform booking sights, there are 3 exterior only cameras on the property that serve as protection to us and our guests. They are directed toward the driveway, down the back of the main house, and the decking outside the entrance of the guest house. 5. GUEST AGREES a. To depart the Unit and remove all personal property and visitors by check-out time. b. To lock all doors (digital lock only on all doors) and close all windows upon departure. c. To leave Unit and premises in same condition as at check in, subject to cleaning necessary for reasonable use. Even with a cleaning fee charged, you are expected to leave the Vacation Rental in neat and orderly condition. d. To forfeit part or all of security deposit if, in Manager’s or Housekeeper’s reasonable discretion, Unit requires extra cleaning, repairs for damage, or replacement of missing personal property items. e. Additionally, Guest agrees to pay the excess over the security deposit held by the booking platform, incurred to repair any damage to the Unit or personal property located in the Unit or on premises caused by Guest or Guest’s visitors, or to replace personal property items missing at check-out time. _______ (Initials) 6. MAINTENANCE We care very much about our Vacation Rental and strive to keep it in excellent shape. If you notice any problems or maintenance issues, please notify us immediately. We will do our best to remedy as quickly as possible. Be aware that in Alaska, it can take a day or two to get someone to address any issues. We have a great team of support there that work hard for us, but cannot guarantee immediate repairs. 7. MANAGER REMEDIES On failure of Guest to comply with any of the Unit restrictions or obligations listed above, Manager or Owner may: 7.1 Enter the Unit and remove Guest 7.2 Take possession of the Unit and remove any personal property of Guest remaining in or on Unit premises 7.3 Re-key the doors 7.4 Make the Unit available to accommodate other guests with reservations for the Unit 7.5 Order Guest from the premises and, if necessary, use law enforcement officials to effect their removal 7.6 Retain any rents for days remaining in Guest occupancy period set forth above in Section 3. 7.7 Withhold Guest’s security deposit.
