Welcome to our very pretty, very comfortable home with everything you need in the heart of Longreach. A fully equipped kitchen, unlimited ultra-fast wifi, stylish bedrooms, incredibly comfy sofas, and a backyard for the kids. Best of all, the air conditioning is delightful and designed to combat our hot outback summers! The space Emu Cottage is a quick and easy walk to the CBD - the location is truly a highlight, with both supermarkets just a block and a half away, and LESS than 5 minutes walk to the middle of the Main Street. No booking taxis or waiting for courtesy buses to get home after dinner! Got kids? We’re just a few doors up from the skate park, so they can burn off some energy if you’ve had a day in the car. There is a baby change table always available for those travelling with children, as well as a high chair and portable cot (we do ask you to provide cot linens.) Guest access There’s just one cupboard we keep locked for our personal items - the rest is all yours. We do ask guests not to park their vehicles on the green lawn areas. Other things to note Accessibility Information: There are 3 steps with a handrail to access the front door. There are 2 steps with no handrail to access the bathroom/laundry areas. The shower is a “shower over the bath,” requiring the ability to step into the bath. Winter Winter in Longreach can shock some guests as they expect hot outback weather. The main living area has heating, but we suggest you pack some winter woollies for the evenings and early mornings. Summer Summers in Longreach are extremely hot. Temperatures of up to and over 45°c are not out of the ordinary. Please understand this when making your booking.
