Pirongia Japanese-style guesthouse

Relax in comfort in the Pirongia countryside in this stylish and comfortable self-contained lodge. This cosy getaway is beautifully crafted in timber and has rural views of Pirongia mountain and the Mangapiko stream. A perfect accommodation option for Fieldays, or to use as a base to explore the Waipa District, Waitomo caves, Cambridge, Hamilton, or beautiful Raglan beach. The lodge sits apart from the host's home, separated by a wide lawn. Car parking and a private entrance are provided. The space The lodge has two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed, and another with two single beds - all with feather duvets. There is also a mezzanine floor accessible by a ladder in the Queen room, with two foam mattresses and sleeping bags if they are needed. The well-stocked kitchenette includes a small fridge, gas hob, and microwave (no wall oven). A boutique bathroom has a tiled open shower and expansive rural views. The front room of the lodge includes a small dining and sitting area with sliding barn doors onto a little deck to enjoy your morning coffee. There is a TV in one of the bedrooms. It can be accessed from a driveway below the property, via a private pathway.
