The Cabin at Hopewell is a spacious, serene, and comfort-first home in the Hudson Valley. This 2-acre property features mature oak trees, a creek, a 2-story wrap-around deck, a heated saltwater pool (May to September!), a hot tub, and all of the amenities you need for a getaway. The home features natural hardwood floors throughout, spa-like bathrooms, extra-large windows to bring the outdoors in, 2 working spaces, and 2 living areas. You'll love this contemporary cabin with old-school character. The space Built in the 1980s, this home has essential contemporary features with country home details. It is our home for most of the year and we largely list it on Airbnb for when we're traveling! The kitchen is newly updated with a gas stove and other modern appliances, new cabinets, and a new open floor plan. Located in Hopewell Junction, the home is 5 minutes away from a grocery store and within 10 minutes of great restaurants while still maintaining a cabin-in-the-woods feel. The home is also 25 minutes from Beacon and Newburgh for access to the Hudson, Dia Beacon, and more. Guest access The entire home is accessible except for the garage. Other things to note - 15 minutes from the Pawling, NY Metro North off the Harlem line, 25 minutes from the Beacon and New Hamburg stops on the Hudson line. - Curtains are available for the bedrooms upon request. I keep tension rods and curtains for each bedroom in their closets. - There are houses to the left and right of the home; they are far enough for privacy's sake and trees provide extra privacy from mid-spring into the fall. - Guests booking with children 18 and under must message to request a booking first. - Pool will not be in operation past October 30th. - Pets not allowed in the home. - Though Airbnb does not count infants against the 8-guest limit, we must. Bookings in excess of 8 total guests will be cancelled. I do spend half of my time here— I keep all of the closets and bathroom cabinets clear, but note that if you notice anything about it that seems lived in, that's because it is :)
