Description
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Enjoy the best of both worlds, free parking, peace, space, and a garden, yet be only 10 mins by car from the city centre of Brighton. Great for those wanting to explore the Downs and other local attractions but without the hassle of expensive parking and congestion that you get from city centre stays. Cosy and open plan downstairs, looking out into rolling hills and a field of horses usually! Enjoy the large garden and green open space. The rooms are spacious and downstairs is open plan. The front of the house enjoys views onto the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park. The back garden is on two levels, the paved patio area and up to the grass level where you will find a very tall tree house climbing frame complete with slide, a 10ft sunken (one small step up) trampoline, a fairy light tree that comes to life at night and an outdoor bike tend to store your bikes if your wish to bring them. Enjoy the L shaped garden sofa and modern outdoor chairs. Myself and my family won’t be here when we have guests so you have the whole place including the garden to yourselves. Your personal space is fully respected, however I’m here by message if you need anything. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet. There are lots of dog walkers as we are on the doorstep of the South Downs National Park. We have a bus stop that takes you into Brighton (and all over the place) just up the road. We have a drive that can fit two cars on and there is also free on street parking. So travel with or without a car couldn’t be easier! Safety consideration before booking: There is a very high tree house style climbing frame with a slide in the rear garden. There is also a 10ft sunken almost ground level trampoline with a safety net. Guests use these facilities at their own risk. However children should be closely supervised at all times in the garden especially on the outdoor equipment and the raised grassy area. There is a 1.3m wall in the rear garden. We ask that guests and their children do not climb on this, kick a ball at it or jump off the wall. Please note that there is a steep hill in the garden to one side. The grass is also bumpy underfoot, so we suggest some form of footwear. We ask that there are no ball games in the garden at all. There are two very local parks within waking distance from the property. Please only book this accommodation if you are able to closely monitor your children within the grounds and are ok with the dual level aspect of the garden.
