The space Private oceanfront Seacan (8 × 20 ft, 160 sq ft) for 1–2 guests. Fully independent with a deck and yard, facing the ocean beyond a nearby home. Just steps from the Northumberland Strait, your private beach escape is surrounded by trees, wildflowers, and native plants, and the property is alive with wildlife—deer, rabbits, hummingbirds, eagles, herons, and monarch butterflies. Relax on your private deck or indoors in the professionally built 160 sq ft Seacan studio, thoughtfully furnished with a double bed dressed in fresh white linens. A neighboring property shares the beach stairs. Lawn care, maintenance, or pest control may occur, with advance notice whenever possible. Luggage storage, a playpen, or an iron can be arranged in advance with the host. Guest access Guest have access to the entire seacan unit with their private deck. Also comes with their private pathway (by the hummingbird feeders) leading to their private grassed back yard; with private seated area overlooking the ocean and beach; and to the shared beach stairs. Guest does not have access to neighbouring properties and is expected to stay within boundary lines as marked by pylons and shrub fences. Other things to note Perfectly situated to explore Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick — about 15 minutes to the Confederation Bridge, 45 minutes to Magnetic Hill, and just over an hour to Hopewell Rocks. Upper Cape is a peaceful base for discovering the natural beauty of Atlantic Canada. The 160 sq ft Seacan is nestled among trees and nature by the water, surrounded by sea birds, salt air, and the soothing rhythm of coastal life. You may hear the soft chirp of crickets, see a moth by the porch light, or even spot deer wandering the beach at low tide or grazing in the backyard — all part of the quiet magic of seaside living. The Seacan sits beside a neighbouring seaside home. Each has its own private backyard and outdoor spaces. A private, secluded pathway leads from the Seacan to its cozy ocean-view seating area and down to the shared beach stairs. While the two properties are in view of one another, both offer a sense of calm, privacy, and connection to the sea. Beach access is tide-dependent — at low tide you can wander for miles along the sand, and at high tide the water reaches the base of the stairs. While the setting is peaceful, you may occasionally hear the sound of wind, waves, or distant activity carried across the water. Pest control is managed regularly, though a few small seaside visitors — like crickets or moths — may occasionally appear as part of coastal living.
