Artsy Cottage in the Woods

Welcome to Seven Arbor Cottage! Enjoy some peace and quiet among the trees while taking in a peek-a-boo view of Clearlake or relaxing in the outdoor hot tub. My two story cottage is nestled in the Black Forest so there's plenty of privacy from neighbors and several interpretative hikes for wandering. Relax on the multi-level deck and stare at the sunrises and starry night skies or chill in the hammock that's surrounded by a bamboo garden. The space The cottage is a two story open loft with parking on site. Note there are several steps down to the entrance and a staircase in the house. The downstairs is open concept with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking, dining table that seats 4-6, living room with chaise nestled next to a bay window, half bath, record player and plenty of books. Double french doors open to the back deck and provide access to the hot tub. The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed, desk and yoga/workout/meditation space, closet space to store belongings, full bathroom (with tub) and washer and dryer. The skylights provide great morning and afternoon light and have a view of Clearlake. The hot tub in the screened-in porch off the back deck is great for relaxing with the trees in the day or staring at the stars at night. Turn on the deck lights for more ambiance. Take your breakfast, lunch or dinner on the patio table or small eating area in the bamboo garden. And don't forget to lounge in the hammock (during summer and fall). Guest access The cottage and surrounding yard are available to all guests. Please follow instructions in the house manual for appliances and hot tub. Other things to note There's no TV, but the Wi-Fi is great for streaming on your devices (or connect to the external monitor, cords provided). There is room to camp in the backyard for an additional fee and some amenities can be provided upon advanced request. Dogs are allowed with $30 pet deposit or $50 for more than one. The living room has a pet door large enough for medium sized dogs. Please no cats (I love them but house is not cat friendly). There are a family of turkeys that live in the area so please be mindful when driving in the neighboorhood-they frequently cross the road. There are also visits by deer and the occasional nearby cat :)
