Enjoy a lovely experience at this centrally-located home with a private bedroom and 1 shared full bath in a safe neighborhood, surrounded by family houses. Relax in the quiet backyard. Downtown Palo Alto, Stanford University, Stanford shopping mall, Cantor art museum, farmers market are 3 miles in driving distance. Ikea, Home Depot, are less than 1 mile away. Easy access to highway 101. Cal train, public transportation. The space The house can host up to 2 people in a private rooms. Hallway sanitized daily. I live on the premises and I am always trying to be present when I host guests. I have flexible check-in and check-out times. Home is in a heart of Silicon Valley. 1 mile to Amzn office and IKEA, 5 miles to G00gleplex, 2 miles to downtown of Palo Alto, 3 miles to Stanford University, 19 miles to San Francisco airport, 13 miles to San Jose airport. A private rooms has a queen size bed and sleeps 2 people. One nightstand. An eating/study area with a glass table and 2 chairs. Big closet and a dresser with drawers for your clothes and luggage. There is a central air conditioner which cools the entire space quickly. clothing iron and iron board are available in the laundry room if your clothing gets wrinkled. I do ask that any food garbage is removed daily. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, bathtub and shower. I supply paper towels for wiping up plus bath towels, face cloths, hand towels, floor mats, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, shaving cream, etc. We do not change towels or sheets during the course of your stay. We also do not go in and clean during the course of your stay. Your cleaning fee is for the initial cleaning. We provide extra garbage bags for your convenience. A thorough cleaning and sanitizing is done just prior to your check in. The house is safe with 2 locked doors. It's a 2 story home. I will occupy the entire upstairs space. You can go to the backyard from the 3rd bedroom downstairs. 3rd bedroom is only a pass way to the backyard, please keep it clear all time. Fire and carbon monoxide detectors in each room and hallway. Two fire extinguishers are in downstairs hallway closet. Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 12 noon. However I try to give guests the option of flexible check in and check out times and will do so depending on my schedule. I block out dates when you are arriving and leaving so that you don't have to worry that guests will be checking out the day you arrive and guests checking in the day you leave. But I MUST know before booking your approximate check in and check out times so I can make my own plans around it and also to make sure I am here to give you the keys and get them back when leaving. If arriving and/or departing by plane I need to know itinerary (flight numbers, airlines, departure city, etc) so I can track your flight. Thank you. Other things to note: Before booking please understand this is not a hotel. It's my home where I live. No shoes inside of the house during your stay, slippers will be provided. No smoking if any sort of substance, No parties or events. I know a lot of wonderful out-of-the-way eating places and snack places in nearby cities so I’m always available to answer questions.
