The space Located in a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street, the Cliff House B&B looks onto a spruce forest on one side and the entrance channel to Kodiak’s largest boat harbor on the other. This means you’re likely to see a parade of boats and all kinds of wildlife including killer whales, eagles, sea lions, sea otters and salmon leaping out of the water. Open year-round, we designed the Cliff House B&B with families and independent travelers in mind. We are just minutes from downtown Kodiak. In fact, it’s a woodsy, waterfront walk to get there. And since our home faces south, you’re blessed with spectacular views of the ocean. Throughout our home and outside in the garden, you’ll find many examples of Marion’s art, including her photographs and mosaics. Marion is a master [organic] gardener and the property is surrounded by gardens planted with vegetables, herbs and flowers. We grow many of the salad greens, vegetables, edible flowers and herbs that we serve on our Galley Gourmet dinner cruises and wildlife tours.
